Island of Capri Italy. A stunning island worth braving the rough ferry for!

This is a my video tour and review of the beautiful Mediterranean island of Capri. Located about a 45 minute ferry ride from Naples it is a popular and glamorous destination. Though getting there can be sickening!

You take a ferry from the port of Naples across to the island. The bay of Naples can be choppy and the ride can be very rough. On our crossing the staff were handing out plastic bags for people to be sick in as we set off. Many people used them. Once we were there, though, the beauty of the island made up for the pain that many had to endure.

You can ride right up high to Capri and view the Bay of Naples and right across to the Pompeii Volcano Mountain. It is a busy place, though when I was there it was not as was at the start of the season.

It is really incredibly beautiful. The video tour I made tries to capture the beauty of the island and the views across the bay to the Italian Mainland.

    I took the ride out of Sorrento to Capri. On the high speed boat I was fine, but I, too, felt a little woozy on the standard transport. Took me a good bit of settling before I felt much like walking or eating. Capri was a lovely place to visit, and the views from Anacapri were beautiful.
