KLM Japanese Cooking Class Experience
To celebrate the increasing of some routes to Japan, KLM invited a few bloggers to attend a Japanese home style cooking class run by Atsuko’s Kitchen.
In addition to learning (and getting to eat) some amazing food, I also learnt that KLM offer a busy schedule of flights to Japan:
- Fukuoka: three weekly flights, departing from across the UK and connecting via Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. From Summer 2014, frequencies will increase to four weekly flights
- Tokyo: 11 weekly flights
- Osaka:7 weekly flights
The other bloggers at the event were EyeFlare, Mums Do Travel, Gohemian Travellers, An unfamiliar Sky, I Want you to Know, Jenography, London Unattached, Rachel Phipps
In the class we learnt to make a range of local dishes that included Mizutaki nabe, Suko zuzhi, Buta no kakuni and Hitomoji guru-guru
The best way of explaining how much fun the session was and how good the food was is to do it with some of the pictures I took through the session! To try the food yourself why not fly KLM to Japan and go on on of the classes run by Atsuko!
