The last day of my Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection River Beatrice “Enchanting Danube” river cruise was spent in the staggeringly beautiful city of Budapest. Both sides of the river are UNESCO World Heritage sites as the buildings and scenery is so impressive. Even more so when you find out that most were destroyed or very severely damaged in WWII and had to be restored and sometime almost totally reconstructed. Fabulous.
